Stories of a Model Mentor, Assisting Non-Profits, Helping Others Pursue Dreams, a Winning Coach and Funding for Skilled Care in the Harrisburg Verizon Yellow Pages

The Harrisburg Metro and West Shore Verizon Yellow Pages directories, currently being distributed to area residents and businesses, include six stories from local heroes featured throughout the books:

* Yvette Porter mentors students through the Camp Curtin YMCA Black Achievers Program. She teaches kids valuable business skills and helps them discover previously unknown opportunities. She was one of 12 employees of Highmark, Inc. to receive a 2006 “Corporate Champions" Jefferson Award.

* Claudia Dubaldi, a Highmark Blue Shield employee, volunteers more than 15 hours a month to Susquehanna Service Dogs and Keystone Human Services. In addition to the local heroes, the Harrisburg Metro directory features:

Harrisburg and Hershey Combined into One Compact Directory for On-the-Go Use
