Zareba Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZRBA) said it will launch two new slide gate operators engineered to meet the demands of professional gate operator installers. The commercial-rated slide gate operators, marketed under the name of Rutland Professional Gate Opening Systems, will be available in July along with a complete line of gate operator accessories.
Made at Zareba’s Ellendale, Minn., facility, the slide gate operators will be available in two sizes – R2000 for gates up to 20 feet long and weighing 800 lbs., and R2500 for gates up to 40 feet long and weighing 1,000 lbs. Both operators will be powered by a 24V DC motor capable of an opening speed of 12 inches per second.

The Rutland Professional gate operator system has a unique control box, which houses many features important to dealers such as easy access to large, replaceable terminals; multiple diagnostic LED’s to help with troubleshooting; quick-install, out-of-the-box settings; a control board common to all models; and a design that accommodates two batteries and multiple accessories. The slide gate operator accessories include automatic gate locks, keypads, transmitters and in-ground vehicle sensors.
End users for the commercial-rated slide gate operators and accessories include businesses, municipalities and mini-storage sites, among other high-end consumers.
