Analyst Reports Highlight Solution Breadth and Depth, and Strong Multinational Capabilities as Key Assets for Customers

StepStone Solutions, Inc. (OSE:STP), a leading provider of on-demand talent management solutions, today announced it received two important industry accolades from information technology research and advisory firm, Gartner, Inc.

In the MarketScope for Employee Performance Management Software, 2007, StepStone received a “Positive” rating for its ETWeb™ (formerly ExecuTRACK) solution, the highest score given in the report, which analyzed the strengths and challenges of providers offering performance management, succession management and compensation management solutions. The company was one of 29 vendors evaluated for marketing strategy, product vision, business model, overall viability, sales execution and customer experience.

StepStone also was named a “Leader” in Gartner’s most recent Magic Quadrant for E-Recruitment Software, 2006, a designation based on the company’s completeness of vision and ability to execute with its i-GRasp™ solution. The report evaluated 30 vendors for product differentiation in the areas of job posting, candidate management, workflow flexibility, reporting, on-boarding, content and multinational support.

According to Jim Holincheck, research vice president at Gartner and author of both reports, “EPM [employee performance management] is an important linchpin in an emerging broader suite of talent management applications. We focused on providers that have a broad, cross-industry solution ... and that have ‘production proven’ products in at least one of three major categories (performance management, succession management and compensation management).”

Holincheck also writes, “Leaders in the e-recruitment software market have products that can meet the challenges presented by large, complex global organizations. These vendors have strong track records in the market, and demonstrate strong sales and marketing execution. The leaders also typically have a well-articulated strategy that includes deeper focus on talent acquisition or a broader focus on talent management.”
