Leading capacity planning and performance management software specialist, Metron-Athene Inc, announces that it has signed a licensing agreement with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a leading provider of business process outsourcing and IT solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, ACS will purchase licenses for Metron’s Athene product in order to carry out performance and capacity planning work for its clients, particularly in relation to the meeting of Service Level Agreements, performance reporting, compliance and the production of capacity plans. The Athene relationship helps ACS meet its ISO 20000 requirements.
According to Ken Stephens, Vice President of ITO Strategy and Transformation at ACS: “Athene gives us a common capacity management tool across our many client environments. This means we can implement common standards for services tailored to satisfy a diverse group of capacity management needs while meeting ISO 20000 quality standards.”
Over recent years, Athene has been selected increasingly frequently as the solution of choice for performance management by leading outsourcing organisations.
