The 42-room Paradise Shores Hotel on Lake Holcombe will sell in an absolute J.P. King auction Thursday, July 26, along with the Tiki Tap Bar, a conference center and 658± feet of shoreline.
In an absolute auction, the property sells to the highest bidder, with no minimum bid or reserve.
Registration will begin at the resort at 11:30 a.m., with the auction beginning at 1 p.m. Individuals will be required to show a $50,000 cashier’s check in order to register.
“If I were looking for a lake resort that has the entire package, this would be it. Paradise Shores combines a newly renovated hotel, meeting space, plenty of waterfront, a bar, a large dining room that seats 400, and an indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna,” said Craig King, president of J.P. King.
Located on one of the lake’s most coveted spots, the resort on approximately 7.3 acres has an established clientele and bookings into 2008, according to King.
The hotel has a manager’s apartments, game room, exercise room, breakfast area, conference room, handicap-accessible rooms, guest laundry, honeymoon suite and private docks.
The Tiki Tap Bar has a tropical theme and a large seamless horseshoe bar. It has high- and low-top tables as well as an outdoor area.
